Set in sleeves the quick, easy way.
Follow these steps to fit sleeves quickly and easily. When matching notches, the front sleeve has single notches and the back sleeve has double notches.
Try it!
☐ Stitch only the shoulder seams. Leave the side seams open.
☐ Add ease to the top of the sleeves, between the notches.
☐ Stitch the sleeve top to the shoulder, matching the single and double notches.
☐ Sew one continuous seam up the sleeve and down the side of the garment.
☐ Hem the sleeves to the length you need.
Top tip: It can be easier to attach a cuff to the sleeve first, before attaching the sleeve to the garment.
